Introduction
Stratos Yacht B.V., builder of luxury Dutch motor yachts (part of the Lengers Group) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer for our location in Lelystad.
For five decades and three generations Lengers has been supplying exclusive yachts accompanied by an exceptional service, where the customer is at the center. The Stratos is an SUV on the water; a completely new and growing Dutch boat company characterized by unparalleled seaworthiness and sailing characteristics. Production takes place at our shipyard in Lelystad where the core values of quality and reliability are central. What you will be doing
As an electrician you and your colleagues will take care of the complete electrical installations of the yachts.
Some handles of the work:
- You will build the electrical switchboards and install them on board.
- You are responsible for placing, installing, adjusting, maintaining, integrating and repairing our own electronics and software applications of electrical installations on board yachts.
- You test whether everything works properly and solve any malfunctions
- Assembly and installation of electrical wiring
- Repairing and adjusting installations, defective parts, etc.
- You think along and make suggestions for the further improvement of our products and services
- Repairing and adjusting installations, machines, defective parts, etc.
You are driven, precise, neat and organised. You are a team player and have no 8 to 5 mentality, you are a resident of our company and belong to our family.
What we are looking for
- You have at least a completed MBO-3 Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent diploma
- You have several years of experience in a similar technical position
- You have knowledge of electrical installations
- You can read technical drawings and diagrams
- You are punctual and can work methodically
- Willing to follow internal/external training courses
- You have knowledge of engineering and/or yacht building
- You are aware of safety and environmental regulations
- You are an enthusiastic worker and can work well in a team
- You see and take responsibility
- You are helpful and service minded
- You like to adapt and are fully committed to completing the project
- You recognize yourself as accurate, eager to learn, collaborative, flexible, stress resistant and positive
